Spectre at the Pool?

Close Up of Pool Ghost

We were attempting to contact the various ghosts said to reside in the Queen Mary pool room–principally “Jackie”. It was very late, and I was certain that nothing was in the pool room but us tired investigators. After examining my pictures, I wasn’t convinced that we were alone there. I took two pictures where this odd, misty image appeared and one where it didn’t. Is this a trick of light? A reflection? Or is it possibly something more interesting? It’s very hard to tell, but I include it here for your consideration. Check Flickr.com/thupancic for the original pictures and the close ups.

No, there was no one on top! We were all together on one end of the pool, no one on the second floor. That’s why I found this so interesting, although many people have had trouble seeing anything odd here. You really have to look at it.

I’m glad you took the time to test this out! I can’t explain it, other than to say this is the area where a great many of the sightings are of . . . who knows.

I understand this photo now. It’s something I had to see in person to comprehend. The ambient light in the corner looks natural however there is no source of light in that corner. I actually went down to take pictures from the angle you took these from and did not get anything close to what you have here. The shadow looks to be from an overhead source of light. Was there someone on the second level when this picture was taken? If so were they using an IR illuminator? That may explain the light source but… if there was no one up top… this is not possible with the existing lighting in that area of the pool.
