There’s a new paranormal reality show premiering tonight on Discovery’s Destination America channel, and by all accounts it should be a good one. Executive-produced by Nick Groff, who was one-third of Travel Channel’s hugely popular Ghost Adventures crew for 10 seasons (and one of its creators and executive producers), the 6-episode season of Paranormal Lockdown stars Groff and former Paranormal State (A&E) alum Katrina Weidman.
The new series follows the veteran paranormal duo as they travel around the country investigating haunted places – but the unique twist here is that the pair will spend a full 72 hours locked inside each terrifying location.
Haunted locations featured in the series include the former Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in Weston, WV and the Randolph County Infirmary in Winchester, Indiana.
According to series’ promotional material, Groff and Weidman believe that the longer they stay at a location, the more likely that spirits will communicate with them.
Let’s hope they’re right!
Check out the promo for Paranormal Lockdown and tune in to Destination America at 10/9C tonight, March 4 for the premiere.
