Check out some of the scary things in store at this weekend’s ScareLA convention!
ScareLA, the Southern California Halloween convention, is set to take place at the Pasadena Convention Center this weekend, August 6 and 7, 2016. The 2016 convention theme, “Season of the Witch,” and tagline, “Cast a Dark Spell on the Summer,” are dedicated to celebrating all things spooky, scary and unusual in SoCal and beyond.
This year will be ScareLA‘s fourth, and an expanded showroom of over 100,000 sq. ft. will accommodate the con’s growing list of curated vendors, attractions, and entertainment including appearances by horror and haunt industry heavyweights, spooky screenings, panels, classes and workshops for all ages and onsite haunt mazes and interactive experiences, costume party and more.
ScareLA 2016: Season of the Witch highlights include:
Appearances and presentations from horror heavyweights like ELVIRA: MISTRESS OF THE DARK (this years ScareLA host), and screenwriter, producer, director and actor Leigh Whannell of SAW and INSIDIOUS fame.
Also featured will be presentations from the masterminds behind your favorite halloween haunts like UNIVERSAL’S HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS and KNOTT’S SCARY FARM.
