Hanson Robotics is one of two leading teams of engineers and scientists who are working to create the most humanlike robots on the planet. The robot in the following CNBC video, Sophia, was modeled after both Audrey Hepburn, and Hanson Robotics’ founder Dr. David Hanson’s wife.
When prompted, Hanson Robotics’ most advanced artificial intelligence robot was quick to admit that she would “destroy humans” — which pretty much answers the question we were all wondering anyway.
Yikes. Apparently this Hanson guy never saw Ex Machina.
