The James Gunn-penned horror-thriller pits office co-workers against each other in a gory game of kill or be killed.
Guardians of the Galaxy writer/director James Gunn returns to his horror roots with The Belko Experiment. Written and produced by Gunn (who started his career writing for Troma Studios and also wrote 2004’s Dawn of the Dead), and directed by Greg McLean (Wolf Creek), The Belko Experiment centers around a twisted social experiment in which 80 Americans are locked in their high-rise corporate office in Bogotá, Colombia and ordered by an unknown voice coming from the company’s intercom system to kill each other before they themselves are killed — by an exploding implant in their heads which was placed by their employer.
And you thought your job was hellish. I’d say the lesson here = just say no to implants.
The Belko Experiment stars John Gallagher Jr.(10 Cloverfield Lane), Tony Goldwyn (Scandal), Adria Arjona (True Detective), John C. McGinley, Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Sean Gunn and Melonie Diaz (Fruitvale Station).
BHTilt and Orion will release The Belko Experiment March 17th, 2017.
