Talk about some hardcore Harry Potter fans!
An intrepid group of Muggle Colombian skydivers recently took some brooms to the skies for a heart-pounding match of real-life Quidditch – the high-flying competitive sport featured in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter universe. While there have been fans playing “real” Quidditch for years, there’s always been that pesky inability to fly problem weighing them down…until now.
It actually turns out that the skydivers took on this challenge as part of a promotional campaign for a telecom company, but that fact doesn’t make their efforts any less fun to watch. And in case you’re wondering, the Quaffle was inflatable – so no need to worry about it plummeting to the ground in a fiery ball of doom. Check it out:
