You can now spend the night at the real Camp Crystal Lake from ‘Friday the 13th’

This sounds ch-ch-ch-ah-ah-awesome…

Are you a fan of the classic slasher film Friday the 13th? Have you ever thought to yourself, “I’d like to spend the night at the real Camp Crystal Lake?” Well now your dream can come true.

The iconic 80’s horror film about a group of teenaged camp counselors getting chased around and murdered by a hockey mask-wearing “Jason Voorhees” (no spoilers here) was set at the fictional “Camp Crystal Lake,” but the real-life filming location was at a Boy Scout camp in New Jersey called Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco (or Camp No-Be for short).

Camp No-Be has previously offered filming location tours for fans of Friday the 13th (and its many many sequels) back in 2011, ’13, ’15 and ‘ 17, but now for the first time ever they are offering a VIP Tour that includes an actual overnight camping experience with special guest Friday the 13th star Adrienne King.

According to the Camp No Be website, VIP guests will participate in a location tour of the camp, have dinner in their historic dining hall and take part in a “first-time-ever special evening activity.” (Should we be scared?)

The VIP experience will continue with an overnight stay in their rustic log cabins on an “army style cot” together with other VIPs. The experience also includes breakfast and a “once-in-a-lifetime activity in the morning with our special guest.”

Hmm, a little canoeing on the Lake perhaps?

The VIP tours will take place on Friday, April 13th (naturally), and Saturday, April 14th (decidedly not as cool).

More info and tickets for the once-in-a-lifetime experience can be found here:
